ROB MCCANN

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND CEO

Meet Rob, a highly experienced Financial Services Professional with a proven track record in delivering exceptional Dealer Group Services to Financial Planners and Risk Advisers. With over 23 years of experience , Rob has held senior leadership and CEO positions in four different Dealer Groups, providing him with a unique perspective on the needs of Financial Planners and the essential requirements for successful business management and compliance.

Throughout his career, Rob has earned a reputation for being a trusted figure in the industry. His commitment to delivering on promises and his genuine care for Advisers and their families have solidified his standing as a reliable and respected professional.

Beyond his professional achievements, Rob is a devoted family man, an avid golfer, and a former rugby player. He takes great pleasure in supporting his children’s sporting activities, accompanying them to various arenas.

With Rob McCann at the helm, our company is guided by a leader who brings extensive expertise, unwavering integrity, and a genuine commitment to the well-being of our clients and partners.

SHIVI MALIK

CO-FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR

Meet Shivi, a seasoned professional in the banking and financial services industry, with over 15 years of experience. As a passionate thinker, strategist, and visionary, she has successfully managed her mortgage business, Provida Finance, while also founding Brighter Minds South Pacific, an organisation focused on cognitive learning.

Shivi brings a wealth of expertise in finance, marketing, and human resources to our team. She firmly believes in the power of education and continuous improvement as vital aspects of any thriving business. With an unwavering commitment to an unlimited potential mindset, Shivi challenges herself and others to push boundaries and achieve greatness.

Beyond her professional endeavours, Shivi finds joy in cooking, dancing, gardening, and yoga. She actively engages in community work as an active member of a local Rotary club, exemplifying her dedication to making a positive impact. Inspired by her daughter, Neeve, Shivi is driven to help clients, support her staff, and contribute to her community.

CHANDAR VARADHAN

CO-FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR

Meet Chandar, a seasoned compliance professional with over two decades of experience in the financial planning industry, Chandar has held diverse roles in companies of varying sizes, including renowned conglomerates such as AMP and CBA, as well as boutique Licensees.

His extensive background encompasses office administration, technology, compliance, and remediation, granting him a comprehensive understanding of the industry. Chandar’s pragmatic and user-friendly compliance approach places emphasis on substance rather than mere form, ensuring a delicate balance between compliance requirements and commercial realities. Drawing from his unique perspective gained from both sides of the industry, he actively assists advisers in delivering high-quality advice while effectively managing regulatory obligations. In addition to overseeing the regulatory aspects of our AFSL, Chandar extends his expertise to provide compliance consultancy services to other boutique licensees.

Chandar is committed to supporting advisers in navigating the regulatory landscape. As a co-founder, Chandar Varadhan enriches our team with his extensive experience, practical compliance strategies, and unwavering commitment to empowering advisers for excellence.

Chandar is Married for 25 years and with two children. His dedication extends beyond his professional pursuits, as he is passionate about golf and cricket.

    The Directors are Advisers and together with the CEO we have over 100 years Dealer Group experience.
  • Technology. We haven’t tried to reinvent software that is already in existence. We have however implemented training, templates, workflows and other support to make Financial Planning software more efficient
